Who's Building This

Vantage Systems is run by Mason, out of Vancouver, BC. It started as web and marketing work for local trades businesses, and after enough conversations with owners, one thing kept coming up: a nice-looking website wasn't what got the phone ringing. Reviews were.

Vantage is what came out of that. A review system for people too busy running a business to babysit their online reputation, with website work thrown in because that part should just be handled, not sold separately.

One person builds it, sets it up with you, and answers when something breaks: me. No virtual assistants, no call center, no handoffs to someone reading from a script. I spent years doing hands-on carpentry work before this, real job sites, so I know a slow week actually hurts and nobody has time to wrestle with confusing software on top of it. Pair that with the tech background and you get someone who can build the tool and actually gets who it's for.

Why Vantage Exists

Reviews are the actual lever

Most agencies sell trades businesses a website and call it a day. A website doesn't make anyone trust you before they've called. Reviews do. Vantage exists because that's the part almost nobody was actually solving, so the website comes second, built to support the reviews rather than the other way around.

Who It's For

Built for local trades, not agencies

Roofers, plumbers, electricians, HVAC techs, landscapers, painters, and every other local trades business that lives or dies by word-of-mouth and Google search rankings. If you're a Vancouver-area contractor whose next job depends on being the business people trust when they search "near me," this is who Vantage was built for. It's not a general marketing agency tool retrofitted for trades, it's built around how a trades business actually books work.

How It Works Day to Day

Set it up once, it runs itself

A job finishes, a review request goes out automatically, a happy customer gets steered straight to your Google Business Profile, and an unhappy one gets caught privately before it ever becomes a public 1-star review. That loop runs on its own once it's set up, so review growth stops depending on remembering to ask. Most owners see their first new reviews within the first week.
